The loud voice reverberated throughout the bar, cutting through the night’s conversation like a blade. “Get your disgusting hands off me, you drunken idiot!” Jessica’s tone shook, but her gaze flared with an old anger. Frank, the Anchor Bar’s manager, recoiled, taken aback by the sudden defiance of his usual target. The atmosphere grew thick with palpable tension and the tang of newfound bravery.

Jessica never anticipated that her role as a bartender in Boston would turn into a fight for her principles. With a divorce behind her and a psychology degree under her belt, she found herself caught in a vile quagmire of harassment and abuse of authority, where every drink she served came with a side of undermined dignity.

The Anchor Bar, located in the bustling heart of the city, was famous for its intricate cocktails and laid-back vibe. However, behind the vibrant neon lights and upbeat music, there was a dark truth that Jessica and her coworkers encountered every day.

Frank, the bar supervisor, was a middle-aged man struggling with chronic alcoholism and a disturbing penchant for harassment. His presence cast a shadow over the staff, particularly affecting the women.
