But instead of relief, you feel a weight in your chest that won’t go away. Post-election anxiety sets in like a parasite in your mind, stealing your sleep and peace. You’re not alone. Millions of Americans experience this phenomenon after each election. It’s as if the entire country is on an emotional rollercoaster, divided between hope and fear of what the future holds.

The Emotional Aftermath

The post-election period is a minefield for mental health. Social media transforms into a battlefield, where each post can be a bomb waiting to explode. Long-standing friendships are put to the test, families divide at the dinner table. And you? You’re caught in this crossfire, trying to maintain your sanity.

According to a study by the American Psychological Association (APA), 68% of American adults stated that elections were a significant source of stress in their lives. This number increased to 76% after the elections, demonstrating that anxiety doesn’t end when the polls close.
